The Healthy Delaware Families Act of 2022
Our coalition successfully fought to make Delaware the 11th state, plus the District of Columbia, to pass a paid family and medical leave law. This new law will allow Delawareans to receive paid leave when they welcome a new child or when they or a loved one becomes seriously ill. Benefits will become available starting in 2026.
